Belle watches the sunset with her old friend Kermit and her new friend Lightning the horse. We spent some time at the bank and they had a promotion where you get a horse named Lightning, who is one of the horses that pulls the Wells Fargo carriage, upon opening a new account. Lightning is looking for a forever home.

January 2, 2011, Day 2/365

The second day of 2011 was stormy in LA. We are ready for a walk outside in my new rain boots and Belle, my Bichon Frise, in her red rain coat.

Day 1 January 1, 2011

An annual walk with my dad on Malibu beach. We saw all the birds take off from the Malibu Lagoon, where hundreds of bird species come to rest on their migration every year. This is the first time I ever saw them all take to the sky at once.
